Today was so interesting. My grand-daughter (Jayden) went to the doctor this morning for her 2 month check up and second round
of shots. Bless her heart, she cried like crazy. They gave her 5 or 6 shots divided into both thighs. They covered up the
shot wounds with a Wylie Coyote band-aid on one leg and a Bugs Bunny band-aid on the other. I gave her some baby Tylenol and
rocked her, sang to her, and just held her as tight as I could almost all afternoon. She was so fussy, and I can't say as
I blame her.
It was so difficult to put on make up while holding her....hahahaha. But I was able to not only put on make up, but I
curled my hair, and put on nice clothes for going out with my husband when he got off work tonight. I hadn't messed with a
fussy baby in so many years I almost forgot how and what works and what doesn't. Good thing my memory didn't fail me and I
remembered that all my kids loved to be held with their back on my chest and their behinds against my belly while I held them
around their belly. I don't know why they like it or why it works, but it sure does, Thank God!!
After Jayden left and my husband got home, he and I went out to dinner and then off to Lowe's. We were to check on the
appliances we are buying, and look at cabinets, sinks, counter tops, and decide which ones we want. (I will explain in a minute),
Well everything started off really well until Jonathan went over to the studs and started talking we need this one for this
thingy and this one for that thingy....blah, blah, blah....bored is a nice word for what I was, but we did get to the things
we were there to look at finally, as they were about to close the store. But now I know exactly how he feels when he goes
clothes or shoe shopping with me....Bless his heart.
Here is the explanation as to why were are getting all these appliances, etc. We are converting a portion of our barn
into an apartment so we can move into it while we re-build our house, so we need all sort of things for this new move, but
we are so excited about it!!
Before we came home we stopped by Josh & Amber's to see how Jayden was doing and see if Ashton and Cheyenne would
want to do something for their great grandparents for Christmas. (Ashton is my grandson who is 4 and Cheyenne is my other
grand-daughter who is 3). I had an idea that Ashton, Cheyenne and Jayden could paint their palms and the bottoms of their
feet and put them on card stock paper, I would do their names in calligraphy and we would get it all framed up for them. Of
course they said they would love to do that, I think it's just because they will get to play in paint, but what ever it takes
works for me!! So we will be doing that this weekend.
It is 37 degrees here right now and my body is telling me we could be in for some more snow or rain one....but I know
something is brewing and heading our way and I will be ready for it!! Do you ever feel like that? You just know the weather
is about go crazy on you and you can't explain why you know other than your body tells you so. Isn't that so funny how that
happens? It totally amazing me, as well as those around me when I predict the weather and it's different from what they say
on TV and mine is usually closer. I just sit back and laugh. Now that's what I call finding the joy and having fun with the
pain you have been blessed with. I know, you are reading that last part and saying to yourself, "I haven't been blessed
with this pain, I've been cursed with it". No you haven't and that is what my Coaching sessions will teach you. "How
to find the joy and beauty in everything". Do you even realize that your senses have been heightened because of having
RSD? Well they are!! Have you taken the time to notice the beauty that is around you and truly enjoy it? Why not? Hurting
too bad is not an excuse, it's a cop out! That's what I can teach you, to love life again!!
Well, I think I will close for tonight and get some rest. I look forward to talking with you all tomorrow and I do hope
you take time to notice the wonderful things around you, because they are there....waiting for you to notice them.
Nite Nite!

Have you ever heard that a butterfly symbol with the wings open means "Flight To God"? I didn't know that until
one day I was sitting in the waiting room at my neurologists talking with another patient who had a beautiful butterfly ring
on and she told me about that. I have always loved butterflies and now I have a new reason to add to the list.
Today was a lazy kind of day for me. I didn't really do much except work on putting this site together, which it's still
in process, but it will get there.
The weather has turned cold on us again and my legs and arms are beginning to bother me pretty much today, but I keep
thinking of all the things I have to do and want to do and force myself to continue to push through it.
Tomorrow Jayden (my grand-daughter that is 2 months old today) will be here later in the morning because she has to go
to the doctor. She will be getting her second set of shots. Bet she won't be a happy camper tomorrow for me. Good thing I
will be going to my prayer call first thing so I will be at ease before she arrives. I am sure she will be pretty fussy all
day while she is in my care. But that's ok, she is such a sweetie that she is allowed those off days. Heck, we all are. Those
of us dealing with nothing but off days, we need some more on days. I completely understand that, those "on" days
don't come to you over night do they? That's alright, you will reach the point where you can enjoy life again very soon, and
I am honored to be your Coach and help you get there....one step at a time.
Well, I am going to close this for the night so I can work on some of the other pages here and maybe get to kick back
a little early tonight. Until tomorrow....Nite Nite!!
